Dr. Farah Essa is an accomplished Diagnostic Imaging & Ultrasound department leader and Clinical Faculty with deep expertise in best-practice scanning techniques for abdominal, Genecology, High Risk Obstetrics, breast, and soft tissue cases highly versatile with extensive credentials, including MBBS, RDMS, CARDUP, and CRGS coupled with a Master’s in Clinical Education. Clinical educator, radiology department leader and a multitalented personality. Dr Farah Essa is adept in designing and delivering training programs for students, residents, and clinicians.
History
Our
Founded in 2019 in Karachi, Pakistan by Dr. Farah Essa Zaidi, the Dr. Farah Essa Academy (DFEA) is fully committed to the delivery of high quality education to produce world-class healthcare professionals in the country and is aligned with the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Since 2019, the Academy has trained applied health professionals who serve a vital role in the country’s health care sector. The Academy offers diplomas in Lab Technician, X-ray Technician and Dental Assistant programs. Certificate programs include basic and advanced Ultrasound, Phlebotomy, Ultrasound Transcriptor / Typist, Medical Transcriptor & Ultrasound Reporting and ARDMS preparation support classes. The programs offered by DFEA are affiliated with Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) and Sind Medical Faculty.
The Academy views standardization of training a key aspect of quality & effectiveness of health care. Errors in health care, both clinical & diagnostic, vastly burden the patients and their caregivers by preventing or delaying appropriate treatment often resulting in psychological & financial ramifications. Improving the procedural effectiveness and patient outcomes therefore, is a moral, professional and public health imperative.
Conveniently located in the heart of the city, the state-of-the-Art Academy is aligned with North American health care best practices & training methodology provides healthcare-related technical certificates and diplomas in a knowledge-based and a continuous learning environment to up skill professionals and youth, especially women to evolve as competent healthcare workers.
