Dr. Abida Batool graduated in 1997 from Punjab Medical College. Her initial practice was in Nephrology at PIMS Hospital, Islamabad, Hearts International Hospital, Rawalpindi and Patel Hospital Karachi. She entered the field of Ultrasonography in 2010 by completing a diploma course in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Karachi Institute of Ultrasonography. Dr. Batool has been continually working in this field since 2010. In 2013, she joined the Karachi Institute of Ultrasonography as an Instructor and General Practitioner. She has a rich experience of training students to perform all kinds of ultrasound examinations. She has also completed her Family Medicine Course from DUHS and is a certified E-Doctor.
